All children at Pekerau belong to team houses Totara, Kowhai, Rimu, and Pohutukawa   Regular inter-house competitions take place that allow the children to participate in cricket, netball, tabloid and other sporting activities within a fun environment.

Senior and Middle school children participate in Inter –school sports events with other local schools, taking part in activities such as swimming, athletics and Kiwi Sport codes.

Other children belong to Saturday sports teams that represent our school in local competitions. These teams are coached by a dedicated team of volunteers from amongst our parents.
