| Welcome to Pekerau School | |||||
| We are a decile 4 school with a growing roll. Our roll at present is 315. We have an enrolment scheme in place and our roll is capped at 335. We have 14 classrooms, a learning resource centre, hall and a dental clinic. Our fabulous Helen Robertson Learning Resource Centre opened in October 2009. The building consists of a library, digital classroom, with 18 new computers in 2011, AV room and teacher resource room.

Te Awamutu is 30 km south of Hamilton and approximately 15 km east of Mt. Pirongia. We attract families from a wide variety of backgrounds and professions. The community is supportive and we have a dedicated Board of Trustees (B.O.T) and active Friends of the School. Regular meetings are held for both and parents/caregivers are welcome to attend
